Now before you get all excited No! Frances Hogan won't be coming to Howlong in person but we will be using four of her moving and thought-provoking CDs as the foundation of our Advent programme for this year.
The series is titled: Isaiah Prepares the Way of the Lord. Having listened to much of it I can sum it up by saying it's not take-away but gourmet cuisine.
We will meet at the presbytery to listen to and to discuss these talks over some light refreshments. I'm quietly hoping for warm, balmy weather and it might be possible to hold each session in the covered verandah area outside. We'll see.
Times and days will be advised and the list of participants is still in the narthex of the church in Howlong, being added to I hope.
