The Easter Vigil Mass at St Brigid's was a joyous occasion
with many new faces attending. Visitors came from far and wide, including
Cranbourne, Sydney, Poowong and Albury.
The rain we had been expecting didn't arrive (except for a
fine drizzle just before Mass started) and the Mass was inspiring for the
celebration of the anticipation of Our Lord's arising on the Third Day.
Afterwards, we all enjoyed a chat and a mingle followed up
by a superb sausage sizzle. The snags were cooked to perfection and a thank you
to Marie Leahy who precooked and coddled them before consigning them to a fiery
death on the cooker. Yum Yum.
Easter Sunday Mass at The Church of the Good Shepherd,
Walbundrie was standing room only with lots of visitors from all over the
place, too numerous to mention.
The Easter Bunny arrived this year and all Parishioners (and
Father) received an Easter Egg or two after Mass. After running riot, the
children were finally herded up long enough to take a photo of the event.
